Acute Care Rehabilitation Services
Acute Care Rehabilitation Services consist of physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and audiology services that work along with other healthcare professionals to provide cohesive care during an acute hospital stay.
Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation Program
The Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation Program offers specialized comprehensive therapy services for 3 hours per day for patients who meet the admission criteria. The rehabilitation team includes a wide range of professionals trained to work closely with the patient and his or her family to further the recovery process. Members of the rehab team include:
- Medical Director specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Primary Nurse
- Physical Therapist
- Occupational Therapist
- Speech-Language Pathologist
- Neuropsychologist
- Patient Care Coordinator

Outpatient Rehabilitation
The Outpatient Rehabilitation Program is designed to meet the specific needs of individual patients as they move through the final stages of their recovery process. Located at the Atlanta Medical Center Wellness Center, the outpatient rehabilitation program offers physical, occupational and speech therapy. The program also offers the following specialized services:
- Aquatic Therapy
- Functional Capacity Evaluation
- Hand Therapy
- Vestibular/Balance Evaluation

Audiology
