David Rosenthal, M.D., Vascular Surgery Fellowship Director

The Atlanta Medical Center Vascular Fellowship is approved as a two-year program by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.  The clinical years offer the vascular resident an extensive operative experience with approximately 600 major endovascular and “open” vascular procedures performed.  These two clinical years offer the vascular resident responsibility for overall patient care, which encompasses preoperative diagnostic evaluation, noninvasive diagnostic assessment, operative decision making, and postoperative management.  In addition to a large operative experience, the vascular resident will gain expertise in all endovascular diagnostic and therapeutic interventional techniques.

Clinical and research investigative studies are ongoing and vascular surgery publications and meeting presentations are encouraged.
