Tim Humphries, MD is a graduate of The Medical College of Georgia. Dr Humphries completed his General Surgery and Cardiothoracic surgical training at The Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans.
After practicing Chest and Heart Surgery in his native Savannah, he returned to surgical training at Shands Hospital in Jacksonville FL in Surgical Critical Care.
Dr Humphries no longer practices heart surgery; however, he continues to do lung, esophageal, and other chest surgery. He is a leader of our Trauma and Critical Care program and continues to practice General Surgery. Dr Humphries performs both upper and lower endoscopy.
