Here at Atlanta Medical Center resident education is one of the many strong points of the program. The nature and breadth of resident exposure at AMC’s program requires our residents to be dispersed throughout the city of Atlanta allowing them to work with many of our world class faculty. As such AMC is on the cutting edge of technology allowing our residents and faculty “virtual attendance” to our live feed conferences on their residency administered iPads. Faculty are no longer expected to battle traffic and their busy schedules to give presentations to residents, but can present from the comfort of their homes, office or anywhere in the world. This gives AMC the opportunity for world renowned speakers to present on any given day.

Genetic diagnostics, cell-based therapeutics, and novel biomaterials have been identified as key areas of translational medicine initiatives.
