Atlanta Medical Center recognizes the importance of providing not only for your physical needs, but also for your emotional and spiritual needs. The Office of the Chaplain offers an ecumenical service of emotional and spiritual support to patients and their families in the areas of religious and personal/spiritual concerns. The chaplain's office also acts as a liaison between the Atlanta Medical Center community and other faith groups in the Atlanta area.

To arrange a personal visit with an Atlanta Medical Center chaplain or to request spiritual support from other religious groups, please call (404) 265-4329, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. During evenings and weekends, ask your nurse to contact the on-call chaplain.

The Rutland Memorial Chapel is a place of meditation, prayer and worship and is open 24 hours a day on Atlanta Medical Center's campus.

Our chaplains also offer a service where friends and families can e-mail patients while they are in the hospital. The e-mail messages are printed out and delivered by the chaplains during their daily rounds. You can send an e-mail to a patient by addressing it to

AMC-Chaplains@tenethealth.com

Please put the full name of the patient so that we can properly deliver the message.
